Mosman Park
Mosman Park is a unique and diverse area of Perth's western suburbs enjoying the fabulous beaches of the Indian Ocean on its west and the sparkling Swan River on its east.
It sits about 14 kms from the centre of Perth and around 3 kms from the City of Fremantle and it is surrounded by sought after residential areas including Cottesloe, North Fremantle and Peppermint Grove. Its beautiful location and proximity to the capital City of Western Australia makes it a perfect location to live, work and play.
Mosman Park provides everything a family would ever want in a perfect place to live. The area is blessed with beautiful and well tended parks, fabulous long white beaches and spectacular riverandsea walks. For those who enjoy the outdoor life, there is simply everything - cycling, golf, swimming, tennis, football, bowls and many other activities on the river and by the sea.
Its convenient location provides not only the benefits of Mosman Park life but makes visits to Fremantle and other surrounding suburbs an exciting and convenient proposition. With its own growing list of popular and excellent restaurants, coffee shops and bistros in Mosman Park itself, it seems hardly necessary to go further afield, but with the cosmopolitan port of Fremantle on the doorstep, who can resist the call of the noisy and colourful market and big selection of bustling restaurants and Italian ice cream parlours. Cottesloe and Claremont, both only a step away also compete for attention but Mosman Park can more than hold its own.
Transport links at Mosman Park are excellent with the suburb having its own train station with direct links to Perth City and Fremantle. Stirling Highway, a major road in and out of the capital provides quick and easy access by car or bus straight into the city and suburbs in between. Mosman Park is approximately 40 minutes drive from Perth International Airport and 30 from Perth Domestic Terminal.
The suburb offers excellent shopping in and around Mosman Park ranging from fabulous fashion and jewellers to the necessities of great food shops and other services as well as antiques and art galleries. Mosman Park even has its own outdoor Cinema - all this without having to travel into the city.
Mosman Park is fortunate enough to have six excellent schools of which two have boarding facilities catering for approximately 2100 students. The private schools located in the area are well known and highly regarded and many of the students come from overseas to benefit from their fine education and well balanced lifestyle for young people in a healthy environment.
Real Estate is Mosman Park is impressive and rates amongst the highest priced suburbs in the whole of Australia. The bank of the Swan River is dotted with splendid mansions seemingly perched above the river's edge enjoying amazing views. The tourist boats sailing between Perth and Fremantle frequently slow down to let their passengers admire these "Hollywood-style" mansions glittering in the sunshine.
But Mosman Park is not exclusively "sumptuous and expensive". There is a complete range of properties for sale and rent and all enjoy the first class facilities of the suburbs and provide great family living.
